The World Is In Danger .

To many local children, hunger is a temporary feeling. To children of third world nations, hunger can go on indefinitely. Over 1,000 youths joined in the 30 hours Famine Camp by World Vision last week at the beckoning of Taiwanese singer A-mei.

As the ambassador of the 30 hours Famine Camp held in Singapore and Malaysia, A-mei shared her experiences of visiting various areas sponsored by World Vision. Previously a sponsored child herself, A-mei fully understands the strength of charity.

"In my tribal village, I was also considered a sponsored child. My family was not well-to-do and the village was lacking in resources. So I can empathize for the children we are sponsoring now."

Over 1 million youths worldwide participated in the Famine Camp and fasted for 30 hours. In Singapore, the participants for this year increased by more than two times; up from the 400 who took part last year.

Ah Mei is such a nice lady ( * THUMBS UP for her ! ) Earth need more people like her , and not those bitches who think too highly of themselves after they got famous . We should learn to give back to societies if we have taken something from them , this is the basic courtesy we should have .
